As a taxpayer or full-time resident in the communities of Ludlow, Mt. Holly, Belmont, Plymouth, Cavendish, or Proctorsville, you are invited to become a library patron and use our services free of charge. Cards expire annually by system default. We require a photo ID, mailing address verification and a working e-mail. This allows us to ensure we have your most up to date contact information. All Youth under 16 need to have an Adult Guarantor on the Youth membership.

If you live in a neighboring town and would like to become a library member, the fees are as follows with membership expiration in 1 year. An "Individual" card fee is $25 and a "Family" card is $40. We require a photo ID, mailing address verification and a working e-mail. All Youth under 16 need to have an adult guarantor on the Youth membership.

If you are visiting us - we require a stay of 6-weeks to 6-months. Your membership is classified as "SEASONAL". The "Individual" card fee is $20 and the "Family" card fee is $30. We require a photo ID, mailing address verification and a working e-mail. All Youth under 16 need to have an adult guarantor on the Youth membership.

Membership Document Overview:
We REQUIRE a working Phone# and an e-Mail. Both are integral for the optimization of our library catalog. (occasional exceptions) This information is integrated with Hold Notices, Late Notices and Staff Communication functions. Promise - No Spam. ALL patron information is PRIVATE and never shared with anyone - like HIPPA for the library world - It's the law!

ALL NEW MEMBERS NEED TWO FORMS OF ADDRESS VERIFICATION.

ADULT New Membership 0r Guarantor for YOUTH Membership -

• MUST include a photo ID or license
• AND a Utility Bill or piece of Mail addressed to you at the local address you have provided

*Taxpayers in our service towns of Ludlow, Cavendish, Mt Holly and Plymouth do not need to provide a 2nd form of ID. We have access to each town's Grand List.

 YOUTH Membership is under the age of 16 -

• Must include Youth's Birth Date
• ALL Youth are under 16 and must have an Adult Guarantor / at 16 the Guarantor is automatically removed (Guarantor needs to have an Adult Membership as outlined above)
